Quality management has always been the policy of Shabrawishy Hospital
Blood Bank. Following this policy, the blood bank applied for ISO
certification in March 2000 and was certified in June 2000. The ISO
9002 certificate was based on success of application of ISO standards
and clauses, implementation standards and the safety and effectiveness
of all through the production processes and the final blood products .
Now the centre has ISO 9001 - 200 accreditation at 2003 and 2005 .
